This magnificent overview is of Guadalajara, a large city in western Mexico and the capital of Jalisco. In the center of the roundabout are a huge fountain and an 8-meter sculpture of Glorieta de La Minerva - the goddess of art, defense, and wisdom, standing here as if safeguarding the city. This is an iconic landmark of the city inaugurated in 1956.
